Prayer Jar – Bluebird

Fill with written blessings for a friend in need

These ceramic Prayer Jars are approximately 3″ high, and come topped with a pair of friendly birds (makes a great wedding present).  Comes in a cloth bag which makes them nice for gift-giving and taking them with you to a prayer group.

Prayer Jars can be used for:

• personal devotions
• gifts
• as a group focus
• or hold ashes from Palm Sunday to Ash Wednesday

Each prayer jar is handmade and hand-painted by me in my studio in rural Wisconsin.

Prayer Jars come with colored paper slips on which to write blessings, gratitude, requests, or names of persons to pray for. They can be given as gifts, with blessings written on the papers, to someone who needs support or encouragement. They can be given with blank papers so the recipient can write their own prayers and blessings and review them from time to time. Prayer Jars can be used in your own devotional time, with names of persons to pray for written on the papers. Each day, pull out a name and pray for that person!

You may special order Prayer Jars with multiple birds on top, representing families (baptisms, adoptions, births, special occasions) or groups. Order a jar for each member of your prayer group, with multiple birds representing your members! For special orders, please contact me!
