What a wonderful season of conference shows this year!
We met you at the Festival of Homiletics in Minneapolis in May, where we renewed acquaintances with some of you from past Festivals–Denver, San Antonio, Atlanta, or Washington DC. Loved it when you stopped by the booth to let me know that you enjoy using your visitation communion sets, or how you have increased the use of anointing since buying my anointing sets! Here’s a photo of a pastor who was happy to find the One Handed Communion Set.
Or perhaps we saw one another at the General Synod of the United Church of Christ in Milwaukee in June. There, I was honored to have provided the chalice and patens used in the Sunday worship service. Five thousand people singing and communing was awesome. Always delightful to see my UCC and Milwaukee friends!
The other opportunity we had to meet was in Des Moines in July at the General Assembly of the Disciples of Christ. I had met some of you two years earlier when Assembly was in Indianapolis, and you once again bought out my labyrinths! Many of you were glad to see that visitation communion sets and anointing sets are now available in walnut boxes. Thank you for choosing these for your visit needs.
Currently, I am looking at the possibilities for conferencing next year. We are planning to be at the United Methodist Quadrennial Meeting in Minneapolis in early May, then on to the Festival of Homiletics in Atlanta later in May. If you know of a gathering that you think I should be part of, please let me know. Always happy to consider additional events if they fit my mission of providing beautiful and practical pottery for the work of the Church!
